The Gofamint Students' Fellowship of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, (GSF AAUA) also known as the Potter's House, is one of the chapters of the students' arm of the Gospel Faith Mission International (GOFAMINT). GSF AAUA started on the 20th of June 2000, with a group of nine (9) brethren, brought together by Pst. (Bar) Sam Folorunso.
GSF AAUA that has now become a big fountain, blessing lives started as a result of the passion of a man, Pst. Sam Folorunso, who from his 100 Level Law at AAUA, went all out on vigorous evangelism, in search of men. And, God blessed his efforts and sacrifices with the needed few who gathered together with him to start this great fellowship. Every big thing starts small. So, the nine brethren held their first meeting on 20th June, 2000 at LT 203. And, since then, the little garden planted by just 9 people in a lecture room has blossomed, and keeps blossoming, from glory to glory.
Pst. (Bar.) Sam Folorunso led the fellowship as president from its inception in 2000 till the end of 2003; and thereafter handed over to Pst. Oyedele Bankole. During Pst. Oye’s tenure, the fellowship secured a parcel of land, at Taiwo Street, opposite Adefarati's house. Seeing that the fellowship could not afford the cost of the land, the then Sisters’ Coordinator of the fellowship, Sis. Veronica Oladokun, (now, Mummy Veronica Folorunso) took a loan from her place of work to purchase the land for the fellowship; and the money was later refunded to pay off her loan. Today, by the grace of God, we do not only have the land, but we also have our fellowship auditorium built on it. GSF AAUA was given an epithet, Potter’s House in 2005/2006 Session by Divine inspiration by the men of that generation because it’s a place of moulding; a place where destinies are moulded and transformed, and the name has remained with it ever since.
The fellowship has since been moving from strength to strength; and from glory to glory. Diverse testimonies from our alumni and GSFites always confirm that truly GSF AAUA is Potter’s House.
